All tours begin at the Ship
…which is berthed on Custom House Quay, just across the road from the Hilton Garden Inn hotel. This is 350 metres further down river (East) of the Custom House itself. The ticket office is in a temporary building, clearly marked, right beside the ship.
If you are travelling on the Luas (tram system) we are very near the St George’s Dock stop on the red line.
Our location is particularly symbolic and historic as many voyages during the Famine period departed from Custom House Quay. Among these ships was the ‘Perseverance’, one of the first Famine ships to leave Ireland. It set sail on St. Patrick’s Day in 1846.
